Engagement Strategies

Bring history to life through manipulatives like concept connection hexagons, timeline tiles, and source cards.

     Hands-On, Minds-Engaged Manipulatives

The four tools invite students to engage in kinesthetic learning by physically organizing, connecting, and interpreting historical ideas and evidence. These tactile activities transform abstract concepts into interactive experiences.

Concept Connection Hexagons

Hexagon Connections allow students to visually map relationships between historical concepts, events, and people. By arranging and linking hexagonal tiles, students identify patterns, causes, and consequences that reveal the complexity of the past.
